“Lock the Maytag repairman inside Pearsol's Parts Center, and you might never get him out,” Cincinnati Magazine wrote about us in its 2002 “Best Of” issue. We were voted “Best Throwback”… and we consider that a serious compliment. Our commitment to do-it-yourselfers, wholesalers, and the repair trade alike hasn’t changed much since 1957, when Lou Pearsol moved his Cleveland-based store to Cincinnati. His nephew, Sanford Mandel, and co-owner Melvin J. Ellis moved the enterprise from Central Parkway to its present Gilbert Avenue location in 1962, where we built an inventory of over 25,000 appliance parts and accessories. Current CEO Ron Ellis bought the business from his father in 1989, and while the owners and addresses may have changed, our commitment to serving a diversified community hasn’t. So if you’ve lost the Maytag repairman, the aisles of Pearsol’s is a good place to start looking.
